Keep every recipe iteration honest

Log ingredients as collection items, capture substitutions, and tie batch adjustments to a single timeline. Anchorline shows what changed and why.

Ingredients as items

Each recipe stores ingredients with measurements, sourcing, and prep notes. Versions append entries instead of overwriting the recipe card.

Child logs for menus

Group recipes by menu, season, or client. Parent logs roll up status and inventory requirements.

Balance logs for stock

Tie pantry or bar inventory to batches. Deductions reflect what was consumed, so reordering is predictable.

Tasting notes and tags

Add tags for dietary options, allergens, or pairings. Notes append to the history so chefs stay aligned.

Kitchen-ready workflow

  1. Create a parent “Menus” log and child logs for services (Brunch, Catering, Seasonal Specials).
  2. Add your existing recipes, capturing ingredients, prep steps, and any sourcing details that matter.
  3. Log every batch adjustment as an append-only entry with tasting feedback.
  4. Review the history for each dish before a service or menu change so you remember what worked and what didn't.
