Etsy / Maker Inventory & Orders
Products, Parts, Sales
You make things and sell them. Each product uses components from your inventory. Orders come in and you fulfill them. Somewhere in this process you need to know: what do I have in stock, what do I need to reorder, and am I actually making money? The spreadsheet that started simple now has tabs for inventory, orders, costs, and none of them talk to each other.
The moment you lose track of inventory
An order comes in. You go to make the product.
You need a specific component. You think you have some. You check the bin. Empty.
You check the spreadsheet. It says you have 12. That was true three orders ago. You forgot to update it.
Now you need to rush order parts and delay the shipment. This is the third time this month.
