Privacy Policy
Our commitment to protecting your data across Anchorline services.
Effective: October 6, 2025
Overview
Anchorline provides a universal ledger platform. This policy describes the information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
- Account data. Name, email address, and workspace preferences provided during signup.
- Workspace content. Ledger entries, attachments, and configuration data you store within Anchorline.
- Usage data. Logs, diagnostics, and device metadata used to monitor performance and security.
How we use information
- To provide and maintain the Anchorline service.
- To secure accounts, prevent abuse, and investigate anomalies.
- To communicate updates, respond to requests, and deliver support.
- To develop new features and improve usability.
Data retention
Workspace content remains stored until you delete it or request account removal. Backups are encrypted and rotated on a defined schedule. When you cancel, we retain minimal account metadata for compliance unless you request erasure.
Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, apply role-based access controls, and perform regular audits. Append-only logs preserve a tamper-evident trail of administrative changes.
Your choices
- Export data at any time using CSV or NDJSON.
- Request deletion of specific ledgers or your entire workspace.
- Manage communication preferences through workspace settings.
Third-party services
Anchorline may integrate optional services such as email providers or analytics. These vendors only receive the minimum data required to deliver the requested functionality.
Changes
We update this policy when practices change. Material updates are announced via the changelog and email. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
