Anchorline began in early 2025 from a simple personal need. I wanted a clear way to see how savings moved through a hierarchy without using heavy accounting software meant for businesses. At first it was nothing more than a small tool for tracking allocations and understanding where money was going. No dashboards, no complexity, just clarity.

Over time I noticed the same structure could apply to other parts of life. Hobbies, home inventories, recipes, bookmarks — they all shared the same logic of balance and change. What started as a personal finance ledger slowly became a general system for keeping order.

Anchorline still follows the original idea that good systems stay quiet. It's built to bring a little structure to the noise, and then hopefully stay out of your way.
